It has been another busy week in the world of British Wrestling, with several shows taking place, here are the top news stories you need to know about.
One of the biggest shows of the weekend in British wrestling saw OTT Wrestling hold its Third Year Anniversary shows in both Dublin and Belfast on Saturday and Sunday. On the First show in Dublin, Eddie Dennis and Fabulous Nicky beat Nathan Martin and Curtis Murray, the match between Chris Brookes and Logan ended in a no contest when Angel Cruz involved himself in the action, OTT Women’s Champion, Martina the Session Moth defeated Veda Scott, Zack Gibson beat Colt Cabana, Matt Riddle was victorious against Speedball Mike Bailey, Jordan Devlin won a three way match also involving El Ligero and Scotty Davis and in the main event OTT No Limits Champion Mark Haskins beat ACH. During the show, it was announced that Matt Riddle and Jordan Devlin will face each other in November, with the winner facing Haskins for his title at the “Being the Elite” show. Also on that show, we will see Marty Scurll and The Young Bucks face Dalton Castle and the Boys in a six man tag match.
On the second night in Belfast, Curtis Murray beat El Ligero, Logan Bryce defeated Eddie Dennis, Martina the Session Moth and Colt Cabana teamed up to beat Angel Cruz and B-Cool. In an OTT Tag Team Championship match, Champions The Kings of the North (Damien Corvin, Bonesaw and Dunkan Disorderly) beat Chris Brookes, Tucker and Luther Valentine, Matt Riddle defeated Zack Gibson, and OTT No Limits Champion Mark Haskins beat ACH and Jordan Devlin.
Pro Wrestling EVE held its latest show at the Resistance Gallery in Bethnal Green, London. On the show, Kay Lee Ray beat Jinny, Nina Samuels defeated Millie McKenzie in her latest Little Girl Challenge, Laura Di Matteo was victorious in her match with Veda Scott. In She-1 Qualifying matches, Viper beat Jayla Dark and Jamie Hayter defeated Dahlia Black. Jetta and Erin Angel beat the team of Zoe Lucas and Livvii Grace, Charli Evans won a three way match with Kasey Owens and Charlie Morgan.
In the main event, EVE Champion Sammii Jayne won her match with Debbie Sharp. Also on the show EVE announced the details of their big show set to come from York Hall in Bethnal Green. It will take place on May 5th 2018, in what is set to be the biggest all women’s show in European history, EVE Women’ Champion Sammii Jane will face the winner of Novembers She-1 tournament.
In some of the biggest announcements from the week, PROGRESS Wrestling announced that their Super Strong Style 16 tournament in 2018 would be held at Alexandra Palace on the weekend of May 5th, 6th and 7th.
Rev Pro announced more matches for their upcoming Global Wars UK show. The Suzuki Gun pairing of Zack Sabre Jr and Minoru Suzuki will do battle with the CHAOS duo of Will Ospreay and Hirooki Goto, Marty Scurll will battle Tetsuya Naito and Toru Yano and Zack Gibson will go one on one.
Southside Wrestling announced a big match for their 7 Year Anniversary: Masked Mania show on 28th October in Stevenage. Juken, Johnny Concrete, Visage, Gabriel Kidd and Lucas Archer will battle Robbie X, Damian Dunne, Kip Sabian, Blake and Adam Maxted.
Pro Wrestling Chaos revealed the final three matches that will take place in the Maiden of Chaos Tournament at the Coalition of Chaos show in Bristol. As well as the already announced Jinny vs Viper match, Ayesha Raymond will face Sierra Loxton, Jetta will face Session Moth Martina and Dahlia Black will face Jamie Hayter.
